Unity essential for national stability and progress, says Maulana Abdul Haq Saani

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Central Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (S), Maulana Abdul Haq Saani, has stressed that national unity is indispensable for ensuring stability, peace and development in the country, calling upon all segments of society to work together with harmony and mutual understanding for the betterment of the nation.

He expressed these views while addressing a press conference at the Tando Adam Press Club after offering condolences to Dr Nafeesur Rehman Samoo on the demise of his father, senior JUI (S) leader Maulana Usman Samoo.

Maulana Abdul Haq Saani said that the challenges facing Pakistan could be effectively addressed through unity, patience and a positive outlook. He reiterated that Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (S) had consistently worked for the country’s integrity, security and public welfare.

Paying tribute to the late Maulana Samiul Haq, he said the veteran religious scholar played a significant role in promoting national harmony by bringing together various political and religious parties for the cause of unity and stability.

He added that the sacrifices of martyrs were a valuable national asset and that promoting peace, tolerance and brotherhood in their memory was a collective responsibility. He reaffirmed his party’s commitment to playing a constructive and positive role within the framework of the Constitution, law and democratic values.

Among those present on the occasion were Dr Nafeesur Rehman Samoo, Maulana Qari Saifur Rehman, Moeen Ansari, Maulana Arifullah and other party leaders.
