Woman Murdered by Husband Over Domestic Dispute, Suspect Arrested

Sanghar (Hussain Ashiq Sand)  A tragic incident occurred near Tando Adam where a woman was allegedly killed by her husband following a domestic dispute. The body was handed over to the family after a post-mortem examination, and was later taken home for burial.

According to reports, the incident took place near Qaiser Ghot Stop in the jurisdiction of Tando Adam B-Section police station. The husband, Noro Od, who was working at Yakub Pathan’s brick kiln, allegedly strangled his wife, Shabiran Od, during a domestic argument and fled the scene. Upon receiving information, police reached the site, recovered the body, and transferred it to the Tehsil Hospital for post-mortem.

Following the examination, the body was handed over to the family, who carried it home for final rites. Shabiran Od’s father, Waqio Od, filed a complaint against Noro Od at B-Section police station, leading to the registration of a murder case under Section 302 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

The police said that the suspect was reportedly a drug user who often subjected his wife to physical abuse. Noro Od has been arrested, and further investigations are underway. According to officials, the post-mortem revealed signs of physical assault, and the full details will emerge after the complete forensic report.
