Tando Adam residents disown brother over alleged drug abuse, illegal activities
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Two residents of Lohar Gali, Mohammad Ali son of Akhtar Adil and Hyder Ali son of Akhtar Adil, have publicly disowned their brother, Mohammad Saqib, citing his alleged involvement in drug abuse and unlawful activities.
Speaking to journalists at Tando Adam, Hyder Ali said that their younger brother had fallen into bad company some time ago and had since become addicted to drugs. He stated that the family had arranged treatment for him at various facilities on multiple occasions, but he relapsed each time after showing temporary recovery.
He further alleged that Saqib had recently started selling household belongings to sustain his addiction, causing serious distress and concern among family members. The brothers expressed fear that he might take an extreme step or become involved in illegal dealings to support his habit.
Describing themselves as poor, daily wage earners, they said they were unable to bear the financial burden of his addiction. They announced that they were severing all ties with him with immediate effect.
