PPP holds ceremony to pay tribute to martyrs of Karsaz tragedy


Sanghar (Hansnain Ashiq Saand) The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Tando Adam organized a ceremony to pay homage to the martyrs of the Karsaz tragedy. The event included Quran recitation and special prayers for the souls of those who lost their lives in the tragic incident.


PPP City General Secretary Choudhry Ashraf Arain, Taluka General Secretary Syed Khair Shah Jeelani, Akhtar Nizamani, Muhammad Aachar Saand, Wadero Salim Abro, Maqbool Nizamani, Abdul Kareem Mari, Akbar Waryah, Waseem Gul, Muzammil Shaikh, Nabi Bakhsh Khaskheli, Abdul Razzaq Makorani, Abdul Ghani Thaheem, Imran Shoro and a large number of party workers attended the ceremony.


Speaking on the occasion, party leaders said the Karsaz tragedy remains one of the most tragic chapters in Pakistan’s political history, in which PPP workers sacrificed their lives for democracy and the people’s rights. They said the martyrs’ sacrifices have kept democracy alive in the country.


The leaders reaffirmed that the Pakistan Peoples Party would continue the mission of its martyrs and uphold its struggle for democracy, justice, and the welfare of the people. The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the peace, prosperity, and democratic stability of the country.
