Foolproof Security Plan Implemented for Diwali Celebrations in Sanghar

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Sanghar Police have issued a comprehensive and foolproof security plan to ensure peaceful Diwali celebrations across the district. According to SSP Sanghar, Abid Ali Gadani Baloch, security personnel, including both male and female officers, have been deployed at 30 temples and adjoining residential areas to maintain law and order.


A police spokesperson said that, like the rest of the country, the Hindu community in Sanghar is celebrating the festival of lights with traditional enthusiasm and devotion. To guarantee their safety and maintain peace, strict security arrangements have been made at temples, community gathering points, and residential colonies.


Under the security plan, a total of 101 male and female police personnel are performing duties at 30 temples, while 44 additional officers have been deployed at entry and exit checkpoints throughout the district. Motorcycle and mobile patrolling has also been increased to prevent any untoward incident.


Traffic police have been assigned special duties to ensure smooth vehicular movement during the festivities. An emergency control room has been established, and medical aid units and fire brigade vehicles have been placed on high alert.


Furthermore, Special Branch officers are actively monitoring the overall security situation. SSP Abid Ali Gadhani Baloch directed all officers to ensure effective supervision of deployed staff and brief them properly about their responsibilities.
