Nawabshah Heroes clinch Sanghar floodlit tape-ball cricket title

SANGHAR(Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A floodlit tape-ball cricket tournament organised by senior journalist and sportsman Abdul Rehman Khaskheli in memory of Pir Syed Shah Mardan Shah II concluded on a high note, with Nawabshah Heroes defeating Hyder CC Sanghar in a thrilling final before a large crowd of cricket enthusiasts.


After winning the toss, Hyder CC Sanghar elected to field first. Nawabshah Heroes posted an imposing total of 142 runs in the allotted eight overs. In reply, Hyder CC failed to chase the target, allowing Nawabshah Heroes to lift the championship trophy.


The closing ceremony was attended by PPP Taluka Sanghar President Ejaz Hussain Zardari, Municipal Committee Chairman Rashid Islam Mughal, former municipal chairman Dilbar Khan Nizamani, Rais Abdul Jabbar Mari, Sanghar Chamber of Commerce Vice-President Haji Yameen Lalu, Mubeen Dars, Advocate Zafar Hayat, Advocate Raza Khaskheli, Abdul Jabbar Junejo, Abdul Jabbar Yousafzai, Amir Qureshi, Rashid Rajput, Rais Zubair Mari, Rahmani community leader Rizwan Rahmani, Ashraf Kanbho and other prominent personalities.


The champions, Nawabshah Heroes, were awarded a CD-70 motorcycle, a cash prize, the winners' trophy and other prizes, while runners-up Hyder CC Sanghar received a cash award of Rs50,000 along with a trophy. Members of the tournament organising committee were also presented with commemorative shields in recognition of their successful arrangements.



The event concluded with a fireworks display, marking the successful end of the tournament. Spectators praised the organisers, particularly Abdul Rehman Khaskheli and the tournament committee, for promoting cricket and providing a well-managed sporting event that attracted thousands of fans.
