HESCO's enforcement team, led by Line Superintendent Faheem Commando, participated in the operation with the assistance of the Sindh Police and Pakistan Rangers.
The joint teams conducted inspections in Muhammadi Chowk, Sikandarabad, Station Chowk, Iqbal Colony, Chakrani Mohallah and adjoining localities to detect electricity theft, remove illegal power connections and recover outstanding dues from defaulting consumers.
According to HESCO officials, the campaign is part of the utility's ongoing efforts to curb power theft, improve bill recovery and reduce line losses. They added that similar operations would continue across the division and strict legal action would be taken against those found involved in electricity theft.
