Tando Adam Girls’ High School Receives New Classrooms Built by Former Senator Malik Imamuddin Shouqeen

Sanghar (Hasnain Aashiq Saand) A ceremony was held at Government Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Girls’ High School Tando Adam to inaugurate newly constructed classrooms, built through the personal funding of former PPP Senator Malik Imamuddin Shouqeen. The project also included the installation of a solar power system and the provision of new furniture for the school. The event was hosted by the school’s principal, Raheela Anwar Memon.


The inauguration ceremony was attended by former senator Malik Imamuddin Shouqeen, GSTA leader Fazlullah Umrani, Councillor Rana Ghulam Muhammad Rajput, Rehana Zaidi, Lubna Waqar, Samina Sharif, Nazia Sharif, Zahida Deero, Madam Farhana, and a large number of students.


Speaking at the ceremony, Malik Imamuddin Shouqeen said that “education is the true ornament of a human being” and that improving educational institutions remains one of his key missions. He said he has been personally supporting schools in Tando Adam and other towns by providing essential facilities. He further stated that during his tenure as chairman of the Oil and Gas Development Committee in Sanghar district, multiple school buildings and washrooms were constructed in both urban and rural areas.


Shouqeen added that he recently met the provincial education minister, Sardar Shah, to discuss the provision of basic facilities to Tando Adam’s educational institutions, and assured that he would continue efforts toward improving the education sector.


During the event, students presented tableaux and speeches, while distinguished guests were honoured with traditional Ajraks.

The school principal expressed gratitude to Malik Imamuddin Shouqeen for personally funding the much-needed facilities for the school.
