PML-N Women’s Wing Convention in Tando Adam, Central President Nuzhat Sadiq Addresses Gathering
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Nuzhat Sadiq, central president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Women’s Wing and Member of National Assembly, said that women play a vital role in Pakistan’s politics. She clarified that reports suggesting that certain provisions of the 18th Amendment were nullified under the 27th Amendment are incorrect. She made these remarks while speaking to the media at a women’s convention held in Tando Adam.
Nuzhat Sadiq stated that she had visited Karachi, Hyderabad, Tando Adam, and other areas, and was pleased to see that women in these regions are aware of their rights, proactive, and enjoy full freedom. She emphasized that women should contribute not only to their household responsibilities but also to social welfare activities.
Referring to PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, she said that party workers are the most valuable asset of the party. She further stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the country is on a path of progress, and Pakistan’s global stature has increased following its remarkable success amid tensions with India.
Nuzhat Sadiq highlighted that under the leadership of a female Chief Minister in Punjab, record achievements are being made in education, health, and other sectors. She stressed that all provinces should focus on public welfare. Addressing circulating rumors about the 27th Amendment and provincial autonomy, she clarified that the amendment aims to provide citizens with faster and better services.
Speaking to women, she encouraged them: “Believe in yourself; you are capable of achieving a lot. A conscious woman who has faith in herself is destined to succeed.”
The convention was also attended by PML-N Sindh President Zahida Bhand, Vice President Madam Hanifa Khanam, Hyderabad Division President Khalid Arain, Deputy General Secretary of PML-N Shaheed Benazirabad Division Haji Ishaq Qureshi, and other party officials.
