Preparation of common plan of action against occupation mafia in Writers Guild Society

KARACHI (Staff Reporter) Journalists, commercial and business personalities, writers and intellectuals of Karachi condemned the activities of occupation mafia in Scheme 33 and demanded the higher authorities to crack down on these elements.  Elders and people from different walks of life attended and the participants agreed that a joint action plan will be adopted against the occupation mafia and any kind of illegal activities will be given full response to the Pakistan Writers Guilds in Operative Housing Society located in Ahsanabad Scheme 33 in the presence of journalists, writers, publishers and businessmen and people associated with law enforcement agencies, Syed Imtiazul Haq, CEO of Bukhari Group of Companies  It was said that the society spread over a long area is called Ahlul Qalam, whose members include journalists, writers, intellectuals and poets and writers. A few days ago, an unpleasant incident took place in the society and anti-social elements tried to take over the society, which is a matter of concern because if this society named as journalists and intellectuals is unsafe, then this negative attitude will raise many questions in the society.  Any kind of illegal action will definitely not be taken, all possible measures including legal proceedings will be ensured to address it. On this occasion, he expressed his gratitude for the cooperation of Sindh Police. In his speech at the ceremony, PFUJ central leader Khurshid Abbasi, famous journalist Saeed Khawar, secretary of Karachi Union of Journalists, Sardar Liaquat Kashmiri, Agha Khalid, Aftab Ahmed, Wasi Qureshi, Kashif Hussaini and other personalities said that the journalists of Karachi at the official level.  It is difficult for journalists, intellectuals and writers to have a permanent residence on their own land, so it is beyond common sense to block it and occupy this land, which can cause unbalanced situations in the society, so they are warning the occupation mafia in the future to refrain from any kind of illegal action, otherwise they will be raised against them in every forum and practical measures will also be taken.  Naseem Ahmed, Tanveer Ejaz, Danesh Saeed, Nair Ahmed, Secretary of the Society Iftikhar Ahmed and the whole committee members, apart from the well-known former bodybuilder and Mr. Pakistan Jafar Shah, Maqbool Ahmed, Imran Siddiqui, Asad Iqbal, Ahrar Khan, Rizwan Khan, Anwar Hussaini, Muhammad Usman, Deen Ansari, Syed Muazul Haque Bukhari, SHO Industrial Area, Khalid Abbasi were also present in the ceremony.  He could not attend due to his busy schedule. At the end of the ceremony, a detailed briefing was given to the journalists, intellectuals and members regarding the construction works of the society. On that occasion, they were told that after leveling the land of the society, sewage lines were laid, while in the next phase, installation of clean drinking water lines, construction of main gate and other miscellaneous works will be completed.
