Hira Public School students pay tribute to martyr in Tando Adam
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) To mark one year of the success of Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos and “Marka-e-Haq”, as well as to celebrate what speakers described as the defeat of India’s war hysteria, students of Tando Adam Educational Society-run Hira Public School presented a guard of honour and salute at the grave of martyr Shahryar Ahmed Chanda in Tando Adam.
Floral tributes were laid at the martyr’s grave on behalf of Syed Asim Munir and Hira Public School. Prayers were also offered for the martyr’s forgiveness and for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
Among those present on the occasion were Hira Public School directors Hanif Shamsh and Professor Ahmed Bilal Ghouri, former justice Imam Bakhsh Baloch, noted social and literary figure Syed Iqbal Ali, former municipal chairman Masroor Ahsan Ghouri, District Public Prosecutor Tariq Aziz Ghouri, advocates Ashraf Ali Panhwar, Syed Faizan Riffat and Asif Abro, campus manager Mehfooz Sheikh, coordinator Muhammad Farooq, as well as the martyr’s father Nisar Ahmed Chanda and his brothers.
Participants, including members of civil society and prominent social and academic personalities of Tando Adam, appreciated the disciplined and dignified guard of honour presented by the students and praised the tribute offered to the martyr. On the occasion, Syed Iqbal Ali also distributed cash prizes among the participating children.
