PMA Sindh Council Holds Key Meeting under the chairmanship of Dr. Bashir Ahmed Khaskheli, President PMA Sindh

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) The Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Sindh Council convened a significant meeting at the picturesque Keenjhar Lake Resort under the chairmanship of Dr. Bashir Ahmed Khaskheli, President PMA Sindh. The meeting brought together leading medical professionals, office-bearers, and delegates from across Sindh, including Karachi, Hyderabad, and other regions.


A number of prominent figures participated in the session, including Dr. Abdul Ghafoor Shoro, Central Secretary General, PMA, Professor Shershah Syed, veteran gynecologist and healthcare advocate, Dr. M. Iqbal Memon, President-Elect PMA (2025–2026), and CEO/Chancellor of Indus Medical College and Modern Medical University, Dr. Mirza Ali Azhar, senior physician, Dr. Hamid and Dr. Shoaib Subhani, President PMA Karachi, Prof. Dr. M. Zaman Baloch, former General Secretary PMA Sindh, Prof. Dr. Agha Taj, PMA Hyderabad, Dr. Dayali, Syndicate Member, Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences (LUMHS), Dr. M. Ismail Memon, Dr. Abdul Rehman, Dr. Rasheed Lakhiar, and Dr. Ghulam Sarwar Bughio.


The PMA Sindh cabinet was also in attendance, with participation from notable names such as Dr. Kasif Memon, Head of ICU, LUMHS; Dr. Bashir Kumbhar, Dr. Ghazanfar, Dr. Vasdev, and several others.


The meeting focused on key medical and healthcare issues affecting the province, future strategies for PMA Sindh, and enhancing coordination among district chapters. Discussions also included strengthening the role of PMA in policy advocacy, promoting ethical medical practices, and ensuring healthcare professionals’ rights and welfare.


The event concluded with a collective commitment to improving the healthcare system in Sindh and reinforcing the unity of medical professionals across the province.
