HANDS Sanghar Organizes Awareness Events on World Population Day in Remote Villages

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) On the occasion of World Population Day, HANDS Sanghar organized a series of awareness programs in various villages of Union Councils Chotiyariyon and Sethar Peer. The events saw active participation from HANDS District Executive Manager Zohaib Noonari, field staff, and local community members.

Speaking at the events, Zohaib Noonari and other speakers emphasized that World Population Day is observed globally on July 11 every year to raise awareness about the challenges of population growth. They highlighted that family planning is not only essential for maternal and child health but also forms the foundation of a prosperous society.

The speakers shared that HANDS Sanghar has deployed over 600 Marvi Workers across rural areas, providing communities with maternal and child health services and awareness. These efforts have significantly benefited remote parts of the Sanghar district.

Community members were informed about the importance of family planning, maternal and child healthcare, and access to quality medical facilities. The speakers urged local families to adopt healthier practices for the well-being of future generations.

The events also included awareness walks and interactive Q&A sessions, which drew keen interest from both men and women in the area
