Seven-year-old boy found murdered in Tando Adam

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) The body of a seven-year-old boy was recovered from a pond in the jurisdiction of the Bago Wadadani police post near Khero Kaloi Mori on Friday.

Police said the body bore multiple stab wounds to the neck and head. It was shifted to the Taluka Hospital for post-mortem examination.

The victim was identified by his uncle, Mohammad Khan Khaskheli, as Mohsin, son of Ghulam Hussain Khaskheli. He told reporters that the boy had been abducted a day earlier by unidentified motorcycle riders from the otaq of Hashim Khaskheli village near Shahdadpur.

Mr Khaskheli alleged that the child was brutally killed with a knife and his body dumped in the pond. He added that three months ago, his brother had also been gunned down. “We have no enmity with anyone. This is sheer brutality against our family,” he said, appealing to authorities to ensure immediate arrest of the culprits and provide justice.

Police handed over the body to the family after completing medico-legal formalities and said an investigation was under way
