Jamaat-e-Islami Holds Protest Against Atrocities in Kashmir and Palestine
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) On the appeal of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan’s Ameer Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, Jamaat-e-Islami Tando Adam organized a protest demonstration in front of the Tando Adam Press Club to mark Kashmir and Palestine Exploitation Day.
The demonstration was led by Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Tando Adam, Abdul Ghafoor Ansari, along with Naib Ameer Mushtaq Ahmed Adil and secretary Abdul Sattar Ansari. A large number of citizens and party workers participated in the protest.
Addressing the protestors, the speakers strongly condemned the genocide of Muslims in Kashmir by India and in Gaza by Israel. They criticized the silence of Muslim rulers and international human rights organizations on the ongoing brutalities and illegal occupations in both regions.
The leaders stated that the abolition of the special autonomous status of Jammu & Kashmir by India and the attempt to turn the Muslim majority into a minority is a clear violation of the Geneva Convention. Similarly, Israel’s oppression and occupation of Palestinian territories are crimes against humanity.
They emphasized that the voices of oppressed Muslims in Kashmir and Gaza cannot be silenced through force, violence, or tyranny. Jamaat-e-Islami will continue to raise its voice against these atrocities at every forum.
The party leaders called upon the United Nations to take immediate action in accordance with its Security Council resolutions and ensure the right to self-determination for the people of Kashmir. They also demanded an end to the systematic genocide of Muslims in both Kashmir and Gaza.
During the protest, participants held placards and banners inscribed with slogans against Indian and Israeli aggression, and raised powerful slogans in support of the people of Kashmir and Palestine.
