Goth Seengar Foundation holds Defence Day programme with PPAF support

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Goth Seengar Foundation, with the support of the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF), organized a Defence Day programme in village Mitho Khoso. The event was attended by teachers, students, and members of local social organizations in large numbers.

Speaking on the occasion, Headmaster Ali Sher Keerio of Government Middle School Mitho Khoso said that September 6 is a day to honor the bravery and sacrifices of the nation’s heroes who laid down their lives for the country and achieved eternal glory. He added that the entire nation takes pride in the sacrifices of the Pakistan Army and stands shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces in solidarity.

District Coordinator Shehzad Azhar Sheikh, Abdul Khaliq Panhwar, Sheeba Mumtaz, Ali Umrani, Faiz Muhammad Khoso, and Zahid Ali also addressed the gathering, paying rich tributes to the services and sacrifices of the armed forces.

Students presented national songs, speeches, and tableaus highlighting the spirit of Defence Day, earning applause from the audience. At the conclusion of the event, saplings were planted under the “One Daughter, One Tree” campaign to promote a healthy and sustainable environment.
