Free Family Health Mela Camp Organized in Tando Adam

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) The Sindh Population Welfare Department, Sanghar, organized a one-day free Family Health Mela Camp at RHSA Tando Adam. The camp was inaugurated by Chairman Municipal Committee Tando Adam, Ghulam Murtaza Junejo, and District Population Welfare Officer, Shahabuddin Memon.

The event was attended by Manager Bridge Consultant Sanghar, Ali Sher Dahri, Dr. Arabia Memon, CMO Tando Adam Abdul Hameed Malik, Councillor Nuzhat Javed, Ms. Shazia, Naveed Hisbani, Saleem Brohi, Saleem Soomro, Shahbaz Soomro, and others.

During the camp, Dr. Arabia Memon and trained staff provided a range of free services including permanent family planning, LARC (long-acting reversible contraceptives), family planning procedures, surgeries, and medicines.

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Municipal Committee Tando Adam Ghulam Murtaza Junejo, said that unchecked population growth was creating serious social challenges. He praised the efforts of District Population Welfare Officer Shahabuddin Memon, noting that such free health camps were benefitting women and children in underprivileged areas.

District Population Welfare Officer, Shahabuddin Memon, expressed gratitude to the Chairman for attending the event at short notice. He added that, under the directives of Population Welfare Secretary Hafeezullah Abbasi, similar health camps were being organized across remote areas of the district to ensure maternal and child healthcare along with family planning services.

Other speakers, including Ali Sher Dahri, Dr. Arabia Memon, Councillor Nuzhat Javed, Ms. Shazia, and Naveed Hisbani, also addressed the gathering.
