Deputy Commissioner Sanghar Visits Under-Construction Trauma Center in Berani, Orders Timely Completion

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Deputy Commissioner Sanghar Sarah Javed visited the under-construction 20-bed Trauma Center in Berani to review the ongoing development work. She was accompanied by Executive Engineer Public Health Engineering Pir Ali Raza Shah and District Health Officer Dr. Daulat Jamali.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner inspected the progress of construction and directed the concerned engineers and contractors to ensure timely completion of the project so that citizens can have immediate access to emergency healthcare facilities. She emphasized that no compromise should be made on construction quality, and the facility should be completed on modern standards to cater to emergency medical needs effectively.

DC Sarah Javed highlighted that the provincial government is taking all possible measures to improve the health sector, and the construction of the Trauma Center is a practical step towards that goal.

It is pertinent to mention that the project was approved in 2022 through the efforts of former Federal Minister and Member National Assembly Shazia Atta Mari, during her tenure as Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP). The Trauma Center is expected to be completed by December 2025, after which the residents of Taluka Jam Nawaz Ali and adjoining areas will have quick access to emergency medical aid.
