COVID Health Workers Protest Over Unpaid Salaries

Contract workers from the COVID department of the Health Department in Sanghar staged a protest in front of the Sanghar Press Club, demanding the release of their pending salaries and regularization of their jobs.

The protest was led by Muhammad Ali Khaskheli, President of the COVID Paramedics Association, Sanghar district. A large number of employees participated in the demonstration, including Asad Panhwar, Qadeer Ahmed, Ayaz Qadir Soomro, Farooq Khaskheli, Waqas Khaskheli, Sono Qureshi, Irfan Ali, and Riaz Talpur.

The protestors raised slogans against the authorities and expressed their frustration over not receiving salaries for the past 12 months. They urged the government to take immediate action to release their payments and regularize their services to relieve them from financial hardship.
