Chest Pain Unit Approved for Sanghar Civil Hospital Following Shazia Marri’s Efforts
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Fulfilling her promise to the people, Member of National Assembly and Central Information Secretary of Pakistan Peoples Party, Shazia Atta Marri, has facilitated a major healthcare development for Sanghar. On her request, a delegation from the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) visited Sanghar Civil Hospital to assess available facilities and select a suitable location for a new healthcare unit.
The NICVD development team has given formal approval for the establishment of a Chest Pain Unit, which is expected to become operational shortly. During their visit, the team also met with Deputy Commissioner Sanghar, Sarah Javed, who welcomed the initiative and termed it a milestone in providing free and quality emergency cardiac care to the local population.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Aftab Azam Sarewal stated that this is just the beginning, and the Chest Pain Unit is intended to evolve into a full-fledged NICVD Cardiology Center in the near future. A designated space within the hospital premises has already been earmarked for its future expansion.
Public circles have widely appreciated the move and extended gratitude to MNA Shazia Atta Mari and Senator Qurat-ul-Ain Mari for their dedicated efforts to improve healthcare services in the region.
