Ayaz Latif Palijo Emphasizes Protection of Sindh’s Resources and Indus River

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAT) President Ayaz Latif Palijo addressed a large public gathering in Shahdadpur, highlighting the importance of protecting Sindh’s natural resources, agricultural lands, and the Indus River.

During his speech, he expressed concern over unemployment, water availability, and agricultural challenges in the province. He stressed the need for safeguarding Sindh’s lands and environment and emphasized that any long-term development must ensure the sustainability of the province's resources.

Palijo called for equal representation of Sindh in national forums such as the Council of Common Interests (CCI), WAPDA, Planning Commission, and NEPRA. He also underscored the significance of clean drinking water and irrigation access as fundamental human rights.

Referring to the Indus River and canal projects, he highlighted the need for inclusive planning and consultation with all provinces. He stated that proper management of water resources is essential for the future of agriculture and the well-being of the people of Sindh.

He further mentioned that Sindh, with its extensive coastline and rich resources, holds great potential for economic growth and development. He expressed hope for greater opportunities for youth in education and employment.

Palijo concluded by reaffirming his commitment to the peaceful and constitutional protection of Sindh’s rights and natural resources.
