Street Crime Incident Reported in Tando Adam

SANGHAR  (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Another street crime incident was reported in the limits of the Tando Adam City police station’s Syed City area, where armed robbers looted a citizen at gunpoint and fled with cash and a mobile phone. An NC report has been registered at the City police station.


According to details, the incident occurred in the Chanhia locality of Syed City, where two unidentified armed men held Khalid Hussain Khasheli, Vice President of the Pakistan Khasheli Ittehad, District Sanghar, hostage and deprived him of a mobile phone and Rs10,000 in cash before escaping from the scene.


The victim provided CCTV footage of the incident to the police; however, no arrests have been made so far. Residents expressed serious concern over the alarming rise in theft, robbery and street crime incidents in Tando Adam, saying that the situation has created fear and insecurity among the public.


Citizens have urged the police to take immediate and effective measures to curb the increasing crime rate and ensure the safety of residents.
