Family Health Camp Held in Tando Adam

SANGHAR (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) The Population Welfare Department, Sanghar, organised a one-day free Family Health Mela at the RHSA Centre in Tando Adam to provide essential reproductive and maternal health services to local communities.


The camp was inaugurated by President of the Paramedical RP Sindh, Sardar Kandero Khan Rahoo, along with District Population Welfare Officer (DPWO) Sanghar, Shahabuddin Memon.


During the health mela, Dr Naseem Mallah and trained medical staff offered a range of services, including family planning counselling, long-acting reversible contraceptives (LARC), and other family welfare facilities. Free medical procedures and medicines were also provided to deserving patients.


Addressing the participants, DPWO Shahabuddin Memon said that, on the directives of Provincial Minister for Population Welfare Azra Fazal Pechuho and Secretary Hafeezullah Abbasi, such health camps were being organised in remote and underdeveloped areas of the district. He added that the initiative aimed to improve maternal and child health, promote awareness about modern contraceptive methods, and educate families on the importance of healthy birth spacing.


The event was attended by Bridge Consultant and District Manager Sanghar Ali Sher Dahri, General Secretary Paramedical Sardar Waseem Ahmed Khashkheli, Dr Ghazal Qazafi, Naveed Heesbani, Dr Aziz Junejo, Dr Farhan Laghari, Akhtar Soomro, and other officials and health professionals.
