Sindh Boxing Association Holds Key Meeting

The Sindh Boxing Association (SBA) held an important meeting in Shaheed Benazirabad to review preparations for the upcoming Sindh Games 2026. The meeting was chaired by Asghar Baloch, president of the Sindh Boxing Association and finance secretary of the Sindh Olympic Association.

The meeting was attended by Khalil Brohi, president Shaheed Benazirabad Boxing Association; Ishaq Commando, general secretary and focal person Shaheed Benazirabad; Liaquat Ali Azad from Sanghar; Sarwar Commando, coach and general secretary Faheem Qureshi, president Girls Boxing Association Tando Adam; Shahid Khoso from Gymnastics Tando Adam; Javed Malik, sports coordinator Shaheed Benazirabad, along with other officials.


Speaking on the occasion, Mr Baloch informed participants that the Sindh Games 2026 are scheduled to be held in April 2026. He directed all association members to immediately organise training camps and trials for both boys’ and girls’ boxing teams to ensure proper preparation for the mega sporting event.


It was highlighted during the meeting that the Sindh government has assigned the hosting of the Sindh Games 2026 to the Shaheed Benazirabad region. Mr Baloch expressed gratitude to District Sports Officer Abdul Rahim Rajput and expressed confidence that the region would host the games in an efficient and professional manner.

Earlier, Asghar Baloch was accorded a warm welcome by local officials and sports representatives, who presented him with traditional Sindhi ajraks and caps as a gesture of respect.
