Lover Couple from Digri Seeks Protection After Court Marriage

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A young couple from Digri has sought protection after reaching the Shahdadpur on Monday, alleging serious threats from their family members and community elders following their court marriage in Hyderabad.

According to details, Shahnaz, daughter of Abdul Rasheed Mehr, and her husband, Sanaullah, son of Abdul Aziz Abrang, solemnised their marriage in the Hyderabad court of their own free will. The couple stated that soon after the marriage, they faced hostility and threats from Shahnaz’s relatives.

Speaking to the media, the couple claimed that Shahnaz’s father and former fiancé, Abdul Rasheed Mehr, along with Hussain Mehr, Shah Nawaz Mehr, Haneef Mehr and others, had threatened to implicate them in false cases and cause them physical harm.

They urged senior authorities to provide immediate and adequate protection so they may begin their new life without fear or intimidation.
