SUP Tando Adam protests neglect of municipal wards, launches membership campaign

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) The Sindh United Party (SUP) Tando Adam chapter held a press conference at the local press club to protest against what it described as deliberate neglect of certain municipal wards and to announce the launch of its new membership campaign.

Speaking to the media, SUP leaders Comrade Muhammad Khan Panhwar, Taluka Organizer Sikandar Ali Malkani, Abdul Qayoom Panhwar, Mumtaz Ali Bhurgari, and Imran Ali Malkani alleged that after the local government elections, Municipal Committee authorities had ignored Wards No. 1, 2, and 3 because SUP candidates had contested there against the ruling party.

They claimed that these areas had been turned into heaps of garbage due to the absence of sanitation services, despite several written requests submitted to the municipal administration. “Our only fault is that we exercised our democratic right to field candidates,” the leaders said, calling it a case of political victimisation.

On the occasion, SUP leaders also announced the start of a membership drive and appealed to youth, intellectuals, and socially conscious citizens to join the Sindh United Party, which they described as a movement committed to serving the people of Sindh.
