Illegal Encroachments Removed in Tando Adam During Anti-Encroachment Drive

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Assistant Commissioner Hunain Tariq Shahani led a major anti-encroachment operation across various areas of Tando Adam, including Iqbal Road and Station Chowk. The operation targeted illegal structures and roadside encroachments, including pushcarts and makeshift stalls, which were demolished on the spot.

The operation was carried out with the support of the Municipal Committee staff and local police force, ensuring law and order during the clearance process.

Speaking to the media, Assistant Commissioner Hunain Tariq Shahani stated that several shopkeepers had unlawfully occupied public spaces despite receiving prior notices and warnings. "We had issued multiple notices to the violators, but no action was taken from their end. This left us with no choice but to initiate the operation," he said.

He further announced that more such actions would be conducted in other areas of the city to restore public spaces and ensure smooth traffic flow.
