Rising Crime in Tando Adam Jamaat-e-Islami Leaders Demand Immediate Action
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) The leadership of Jamaat-e-Islami Tando Adam, including Ameer Syed Arifullah Saifi, Naib Ameers Mushtaq Ahmed Adil, Abdul Ghafoor Ansari, Haji Noor Hassan, Secretary Abdul Sattar Ansari, Adeel Maroof, and Haji Rasheed, have jointly expressed deep concern over the alarming rise in incidents of theft, robbery, mugging, and motorcycle snatching across the city.
In a strongly worded statement, the leaders said that the surge in criminal activities has created an atmosphere of fear and insecurity among the residents, severely impacting the city’s law and order situation. They criticized the police and administration for their negligence and failure to take effective action against the criminals, stating that dacoits and muggers are roaming freely without fear.
The leaders further claimed that lawlessness has prevailed in the city, with robbers, muggers, and drug dealers operating openly. "Instead of providing protection to the citizens and traders of Tando Adam, the authorities seem to have left them at the mercy of criminals," they said.
Jamaat-e-Islami has made a strong appeal to the Chief Minister of Sindh, the IGP Sindh, and other high-ranking officials to take immediate notice of the deteriorating situation. They demanded the appointment of honest and dutiful officers in Tando Adam and a comprehensive crackdown on criminal elements and drug peddlers.
They urged for the arrest and strict punishment of the culprits to restore peace and ensure the safety of the citizens. The party warned that if the authorities fail to act, Jamaat-e-Islami will launch a protest movement in collaboration with the local community and business sector.
