Meeting Reviews Implementation of NPVE Policy 2024

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A key meeting was held under the chairpersonship of Deputy Commissioner Sarah Javed and SSP Aabid Ali Baloch to review the effective implementation of the NPVE Policy 2024 across the district.

Officials of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) were directed to increase staff strength for women’s surveys and improve the execution of the digital wallet system to ensure better facilitation of beneficiaries.

The meeting was attended by heads of relevant departments, who briefed participants on ongoing measures under the policy framework. The Deputy Commissioner stressed the need for enhanced inter-departmental coordination to ensure effective enforcement of the NPVE Policy 2024.

She emphasized that the implementation of the policy is essential for curbing extremism and promoting peace and stability in society. It was further decided that awareness campaigns regarding the policy would be intensified, with greater engagement of educational institutions and local communities.

Deputy Commissioner Sarah Javed directed all departments to submit regular progress reports to ensure effective monitoring of implementation. She reiterated that the district administration remains committed to the full enforcement of the NPVE Policy 2024, along with efforts to prevent gender-based violence and strengthen community safety mechanisms.
