Roof collapse at Tando Adam primary school, students and teachers narrowly escape

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A primary school building in Tando Adam narrowly escaped tragedy when the roof beams of a classroom collapsed on Friday. Fortunately, students and teachers present inside remained unharmed.

According to reports, the incident occurred at Haji Allah Dino Saand Primary School, located in UC Mitho Khoso’s village Achar Saand. Following the collapse, students were immediately evacuated and sent home.

School teacher Asadullah Saand said the building was already in a dilapidated state and the recent monsoon rains had further weakened its condition. “The falling beams have put the lives of students at risk, making it extremely difficult to continue educational activities,” he said.

He added that repeated written complaints had been submitted to the education department but no action had been taken so far. The teacher appealed to higher authorities to ensure urgent repair and restoration of the school building so that classes could continue and the future of children could be safeguarded.
