Awareness Seminar on the Role of Ombudsman Held in Sanghar

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) An awareness seminar highlighting the role and responsibilities of the Provincial Ombudsman was held in Sanghar, with the participation of all Chief Municipal Officers and Union Council Secretaries from the region. The event aimed to educate local government officials about the Ombudsman’s constitutional role in addressing public complaints and ensuring good governance.


Speaking on the occasion, Regional Director of the Ombudsman Office Sanghar, Ghulam Shabbir Memon, emphasized the importance of the Local Government Department in maintaining a healthy society. He urged all officers to take timely and effective measures for cleanliness, provision of safe drinking water, and proper drainage systems to resolve public grievances and improve community well-being.


Assistant Registrar of the Ombudsman Office Sanghar, Murtaza Memon, also addressed the seminar. He provided detailed insights into the complaint registration process, the institutional framework, and the services available to the public through the Ombudsman’s office.


The seminar concluded with a reaffirmation of commitment by the participating officials to improve service delivery and work collaboratively for the betterment of local communities.
