Woman alleges husband, in-laws expelled her after losing bank job

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A woman from Tando Adam has accused her husband and in-laws of forcing her and her five daughters out of their home after she lost her job at a bank, leaving the family to live in financial hardship for the past three months.

Speaking at a press conference at the Tando Adam Press Club, Shahzadi, wife of Hashim Mashori and a resident of Kali Road area, alleged that family relations remained normal as long as she was employed and contributing towards household expenses. However, she claimed that soon after her job ended, her husband and in-laws changed their behaviour and allegedly expelled her from the house.

She alleged that she was pushed out of the house along with her daughters and had since been living in a rented accommodation under difficult circumstances. Shahzadi said her husband, whom she described as financially stable, had neither contacted them nor provided financial assistance for the children’s education, rent and daily expenses.

The woman appealed to the authorities to take notice of the matter and provide her and her children with justice and protection.
