Man Accuses Policeman of Abducting Wife, Children in Tando Adam
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A resident of New City, Tando Adam, has accused a police official of allegedly abducting his wife along with their two children and subjecting him to harassment and threats.
Speaking to the media at the Tando Adam press club, Zubair Qureshi claimed that a police officer, identified as Mansoor Baloch, had allegedly lured his wife, Abida, and taken her away along with their two children, leaving him in severe distress.
Mr Qureshi further alleged that the officer had been pressuring his wife to seek a divorce and had been using various tactics to harass him, including registering false cases and issuing life threats. He said he feared for his own safety as well as that of his children.
He also claimed that, on the instructions of the said officer, local police detained him a day earlier, subjected him to torture, and later released him after allegedly taking money.
Mr Qureshi appealed to higher authorities to take immediate action against the accused official and his accomplices, ensure the safe recovery of his children, and provide him with protection.
