Iftar Dinner Hosted at Ghouri House in Tando Adam


Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) The sons of late Abdul Aziz Ghouri, Prof Muhammad Bilal Ghouri, Prof Ahmed Jibran Ghouri, Imran Aziz Ghouri, Tariq Aziz Ghouri and Faisal Ghouri hosted an Iftar dinner at Ghouri House on Sunday, which was attended by a large number of social, religious and educational figures from the city.


Speaking on the occasion, Tanzeem-e-Asatiza Sanghar President Prof Ahmed Bilal Ghouri and noted religious scholar Mufti Muhammad Umar Khan highlighted the significance of Ramazan, describing it as a month filled with countless blessings, mercy and forgiveness from Allah Almighty.


They said that Ramazan is a sacred period during which believers receive immense rewards for their good deeds and the doors of forgiveness are opened. The speakers also noted that the Holy Quran was revealed in this blessed month, serving as a source of guidance and enlightenment for humanity.


They further said that Ramazan teaches patience, piety, tolerance, compassion and brotherhood. Fasting helps people understand the hardships of hunger and thirst, encouraging them to assist the poor and the needy in society.


The speakers urged Muslims to make the most of the holy month by increasing acts of worship, reciting the Holy Quran and engaging in charity and other virtuous deeds to seek the pleasure of Allah Almighty.


They also emphasised the need for unity, brotherhood and adherence to Islamic teachings among the Muslim Ummah in the present times.


Special prayers were offered at the end of the gathering for the security and prosperity of the country, unity among Muslims and peace and stability in the Muslim world.


Among those present were Jamaat-i-Islami Tando Adam Ameer Syed Arifullah, Naib Ameers Mushtaq Ahmed Adil, Secretary Press Club Tando Adam Ashiq Hussain Saand, Riaz Hussain Sanjrani and others.
