Al-Khidmat Foundation distributes winter packages to 200 needy families in Tando Adam

Al-Khidmat Foundation, the welfare arm of Jamaat-e-Islami in Sanghar district, organised a distribution ceremony at the grounds of Hira Public School, Tando Adam, where winter packages including blankets, quilts and pillows were handed over to 200 deserving individuals.

The event was attended by the acting Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Tando Adam, Mushtaq Ahmed Adil, the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Tehsil Tando Adam, Abdul Ghafoor Ansari and the president of Al-Khidmat Foundation Sanghar, Syed Tauheed Ahmed, who addressed the gathering.

The speakers said that Al-Khidmat Foundation is a humanitarian organisation that provides assistance to needy people without any discrimination. They added that the foundation continues to distribute ration and other essential items throughout the year and is currently supporting 200 orphan children under its orphan sponsorship programme.

They further announced that the foundation plans to launch skill development programmes for youth in various towns of Sanghar district. Through these initiatives, hundreds of educated young people will receive computer training and be able to secure employment and income opportunities.

The speakers urged the public to support Al-Khidmat Foundation’s efforts and join Jamaat-e-Islami in its mission of promoting social welfare.

The ceremony was also attended by Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Tando Adam Abdul Sattar Ansari, Secretary Al-Khidmat Sanghar Jehangir Iqbal, Hamza Rasheed and other party leaders.
