Open Katcheri Held in Tando Adam on Federal Ombudsman’s Directives

Sanghar: On the special instructions of Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan Mr. Aijaz Ahmed Qureshi, a public hearing (Open Katcheri) was held in Tando Adam by Regional Office Mirpurkhas. The session was conducted by Associate Advisor Engineer Muhammad Arif with the aim to raise public awareness and address complaints against federal departments.

During the Katcheri, citizens lodged complaints against HESCO, Sui Southern Gas, NADRA, and other federal organizations. Several complaints were resolved on the spot, while others led to the summoning of concerned officials and complainants to the office for further proceedings.

Speaking to the media on the occasion, Engineer Muhammad Arif stated that the institution of the Federal Ombudsman is committed to resolving public issues. He emphasized that any citizen can file a complaint against a federal department on plain paper without any cost, and prompt action will be taken.

The event was attended by Assistant Commissioner Tando Adam Hunain Tariq Shahani, XEN HESCO Ghiyasuddin Shaikh, HESCO RO Officer Asif Ali Channa, Incharge SSGCL Syed Habdar Ali Shah, DSP Tando Adam Abdul Sattar Gurgej, Incharge NADRA Shahid Hussain Halepoto, Assistant Director Benazir Income Support Programme Faisal Gujar, Vice Chairman Municipal Committee Tando Adam Malik Zulfiqar, and a large number of citizens and officials from various departments.
