MNA Salahuddin Junejo Meets PM Shehbaz Sharif, Raises Concerns Over Gas Supply and Employment Issues in Sanghar

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Member of National Assembly (MNA) Salahuddin Junejo held a special meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad, where he raised serious concerns regarding the lack of gas supply and employment opportunities for locals in the oil and gas fields operating in Sanghar district.

According to details, MNA Junejo, who represents the Tando Adam–Shahdadpur constituency, informed the Prime Minister that despite clear orders from the Supreme Court, oil and gas companies in the region are failing to provide gas to nearby communities or offer jobs to local residents.

He stated that the Supreme Court had mandated that facilities and employment be provided within a 5-kilometer radius of operational oil and gas fields, yet the companies continue to violate this directive.

In response, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assured MNA Junejo that the matter would be taken seriously and resolved at the earliest. The Prime Minister promised to take appropriate action to ensure compliance with the court's orders and deliver relief to the affected communities.

Speaking later via phone, MNA Salahuddin Junejo expressed hope that the issue would soon be resolved, benefiting the people of the area and ensuring they receive their rightful share of resources and opportunities.
