Health Department Employees Protest Against PPHI District Manager

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Employees of the Sindh Health Department, under the banner of the People's Medical Wing, staged a protest in front of the Tando Adam Press Club against the District Manager of PPHI Sanghar, Majid Arejo.

The protest was led by Haider Ali Chandio, Khalilur Rehman Khaskheli, Muhammad Ali Surhio, and other leaders. The protesters raised slogans against the District Manager and carried banners demanding justice and accountability.

Speaking to the media, the protest leaders accused Majid Arejo of carrying out vindictive actions against government health employees, including suspensions and withholding overtime payments despite extra duty hours. They claimed that while regular health staff were being unfairly targeted, PPHI’s own employees were being granted unjustified exemptions from duties and given preferential treatment.

The demonstrators demanded the immediate removal of Majid Arejo from his post and called for the appointment of an honest and impartial officer in his place. They warned that if their demands were not met, the protest movement would be expanded across the district.
