Seventh Death Anniversary of Renowned Folk Singer Urs Chandio to be observed today

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) The seventh death anniversary of renowned Sindhi folk singer and passionate lover of the traditional yaktaro and chapri, the late Urs Chandio to be observed today at Jam Tamachi Rest House in Tando Adam.

The event has been organized by his student Faheem Khaskheli, in collaboration with Kainat Historical, Cultural, Peace and Welfare Society.

Special guests at the commemoration include the late singer’s sons Dilbar Urs Chandio, Raja Urs Chandio, and Sarvech Urs Chandio. A large number of his students, local citizens, and fans of folk music willbe participate in the event.

During the ceremony, tributes will be paid to Urs Chandio’s artistic contributions. Special performances of his memorable songs will be presented to honor his legacy and keep his memory alive.
