Prime Minister Visits ISI Headquarters Alongside Services Chiefs, Reaffirms Commitment to National Defense
Islamabad (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the ISI Headquarters, where he received a detailed briefing on the current national security situation. During the briefing, the Prime Minister was informed about India’s aggressive and provocative actions along the western border.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif, and the Services Chiefs also accompanied him during the visit.
The leadership was briefed in detail on regional security, threats, conventional military preparedness, hybrid warfare strategies, and terrorist proxies. Special focus was given to India’s escalating confrontations and associated conventional threats.
The statement added that the Prime Minister and the accompanying dignitaries emphasized the importance of national vigilance, institutional coordination, and operational readiness to effectively and decisively respond to any violation of Pakistan's sovereignty and regional security.
Commending ISI's professional capabilities and strategic role, the Prime Minister stated that the institution plays a vital role in safeguarding national interests and in decision-making related to security, even under challenging circumstances.
He reiterated that the entire nation stands firmly with its brave armed forces, noting that the Pakistan Army is among the most professional and well-organized militaries in the world.
The national leadership reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to the defense of the homeland and assured that with the full support of the people, the armed forces of Pakistan—alongside all state institutions and national powers—are fully prepared at all times to protect the country’s security, dignity, and sovereignty.
