Actress from ‘The Girl on the Train’ Dies at 43 Due to Rare Cancer

Belgian actress Emilie Dequenne has passed away at the age of 43, as reported by the Daily Mail. Best known for her role in the BBC television drama The Missing, Dequenne died in a hospital just outside Paris on Sunday.

In October 2023, the award-winning actress revealed that she had been diagnosed with adrenocortical carcinoma, a rare cancer of the adrenal gland. By April 2024, she announced her complete remission and expressed her determination to return to both her career and everyday life. “I was close to forgetting because I was leaving the hospital today after 13 days... What a tough battle,” she shared in an Instagram post.

However, Dequenne suffered a relapse toward the end of 2024. On December 1, she told French television show TF1 that she would be prioritizing her health due to her worsening condition. “I know I will not live as long as planned,” she admitted.
