Nationwide Thanksgiving Day Observed for Gaza Ceasefire in Tando Adam
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) On the call of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan’s Ameer, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman, a Thanksgiving Day was observed across the country, including in Tando Adam, to mark the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. A gathering was held in front of the Tando Adam Press Club, where Jamaat-e-Islami Sanghar’s General Secretary Arshad Khaskheli and Acting Ameer Abdul Sattar Ansari addressed the attendees.
In their speeches, they commended Hamas for defeating Israel’s arrogance and praised the sacrifices of the Palestinian people, which they said forced the enemy to surrender. "We salute the brave and courageous leadership of Hamas," they stated, adding that in 15 months of Israeli aggression and terrorism, 48,000 Palestinian Muslims have been martyred, and thousands have been injured.
They highlighted that despite all atrocities, the people of Gaza and Palestine have stood as an unyielding wall to protect Al-Aqsa Mosque. The resistance and ultimate success of Hamas send a clear message to oppressive forces worldwide: Muslims cannot be subdued through force and tyranny.
The leaders emphasized the importance of Muslim unity, stating, "If the Muslim Ummah transforms its unity into strength, it can compel the enemy to kneel." They called for brotherhood among Muslims and stressed that the sacrifices of Hamas fighters would soon bear fruit, paving the way for an Islamic revolution worldwide.
The event concluded with prayers for the freedom of Palestine and an end to oppression.
