New Polio Case Confirmed in 14 Month Old Girl in Tando Adam

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A new case of polio has been confirmed in a 14 month old girl, Jameela, daughter of Muhammad Ishaq, in the Tando Adam union council of Kunb Daro. This marks the first polio case in Sanghar district in three years.

Dr. Dolat Jamali, the District Health Officer of Sanghar, expressed deep concern over the case, noting that despite the child receiving all required vaccinations, she has been affected by the virus. He emphasized that efforts to eradicate polio will continue.

Reliable sources indicate that despite Sunday being a holiday, polio teams are actively working in the area. Starting Monday, all children under five in the union council will receive IPV vaccinations.
