Major Drug Bust in Tando Adam, Driver Arrested with Toxic Gutka and Betel Nuts

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) In a significant operation, the Tando Adam Task Force apprehended a driver and seized a Troller loaded with toxic gutka and betel nuts. This operation was conducted under the leadership of DSP Muhammad Moosa Abro and SHO City Niaz Hussain Kallhoro.

The police intercepted the vehicle on Khando Road which was arriving from Multan. They recovered 70 cartons of Habibi gutka, containing over 300,000 packets, and 130 cartons of sweet betel nuts containing to approximately 1.7 million packets. The total value of the seized drugs is estimated at around 20 million PKR.

The driver Abdul Khaliq who is also reported to be the owner of the truck, has been arrested and a case has been registered against him. DSP Muhammad Moosa Abro stated that the operation was based on reliable information, and they are investigating further to trace the source of the drugs and identify any additional suspects.
