Farewell Ceremony Held in Sanghar for District Health Officer Dr Daulat Ali Jamali

SANGHAR (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A dignified farewell ceremony was organised by Lady Health Workers (LHWs) of Sanghar in honour of District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Daulat Ali Jamali on the completion of his long and distinguished government service ahead of his retirement next month.


The ceremony, led by District Head of Lady Health Workers Dr Hina Shabbir Chhina, was held at the Nursing Hall, Sanghar, and was attended by a large number of lady health workers, health officers and staff from across the district.


Speaking on the occasion, Dr Jamali praised the tireless efforts, dedication and commitment of lady health workers in combating diseases, particularly polio, in Sanghar district. He said retirement was a natural phase of government service, but the time spent serving the public health sector would always remain a source of pride for him. He termed the role of lady health workers in safeguarding public health as invaluable and unforgettable.


Dr Hina Shabbir Chhina, in her address, described Dr Jamali as a hardworking, honest and dutiful officer, under whose leadership the health department achieved notable successes. She said the department was losing an experienced and capable doctor whose services would always be remembered with respect and appreciation.


At the end of the ceremony, the lady health workers presented Dr Jamali with a shield and gifts, cut a cake and paid glowing tributes to his services. Health officials including Dr Shabbir Chhina, Dr Vishnomal, Bilal Ahmed, Shama Gulani and others were also present on the occasion.
