A.C Tando Adam inspects polio vaccination centres, praises health teams’ performance

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) In connection with the ongoing anti-polio campaign, Assistant Commissioner Hunain Tariq Shahani visited various areas of Tando Adam city including Mohammadi Chowk, Gol Chakra, Bhittai Nagar, Shah Nawaz Gate, Latif Gate, Tando Allahyar Road, and other sites where polio vaccination centres have been established.

He also visited several rural polio centres, including the Basic Health Unit (BHU) Peero Faqeer Shoro, to review ongoing vaccination work. The Assistant Commissioner appreciated the performance of doctors and field staff for their dedication and effective efforts in administering polio drops to children.

During his visit to village Mir Khan Sehto, he said that since the launch of the campaign on October 13, teams from the health department, education department, municipal committee, and revenue department have been working tirelessly in both urban and rural areas to protect children from the crippling disease.

He added that the performance of all teams is being monitored daily, and strict action will be taken against negligent officials.

Shahani urged parents to ensure that their children receive the polio drops, emphasizing that polio is a dangerous disease and that cooperation with vaccination teams is a national duty.
