The speakers noted that during the British era, Sindhi was officially recognized as a national language. Referring to the United Nations charter, they asserted that any nation with its own script and land has the right to declare its language as a national language.

The speakers further emphasized that world leaders frequently use their native languages in diplomatic and official meetings, often with the assistance of interpreters, showcasing their pride and respect for their linguistic heritage. They stressed that such practices should inspire other nations to preserve and promote their languages.

Concluding the event, participants urged the government to take immediate steps to grant Sindhi the status of a national language, ensuring that future generations continue to cherish and celebrate their linguistic and cultural identity.
