Memorial Gathering Held for Late Scholar Molana Abdul Rehman Tunbrani
Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) A Qur’an recitation (Qul Sharif) and Mehfil-e-Muhammadi were held at Haji Shah Mosque on the 40th day of the passing of renowned religious scholar Molana Abdul Rehman Tunbrani. The gathering was hosted by Molana Hafiz Noor Muhammad Tunbrani Qadri and attended by a large number of distinguished scholars, citizens, relatives, and admirers from the city.
On the occasion, Allama Mufti Muhammad Umar Khilji and Molana Hafiz Noor Muhammad Tunbrani delivered speeches highlighting the virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt, the family of the Holy Prophet ﷺ, the Companions, and the noble wives of the Prophet ﷺ. They reminded attendees that this world is temporary, but those who leave behind righteous deeds and virtuous offspring remain remembered forever. They emphasized the high status of women in Islam and said that if women followed the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ in letter and spirit, the world would become like paradise.
The speakers further stated that Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions sacrificed their lives for the preservation of Islam so that the faith would remain alive until the Day of Judgment. They stressed that it is now the duty of every Muslim, both men and women, to spread the message of Islam, forbid evil, and promote goodness.
Remembering the services of Molana Abdul Rehman Tunbrani, they said he devoted four decades of his life to serving religion, frequently speaking on the virtues of the Ahl al-Bayt, imparting both religious and worldly education to his children, and making them Hafiz-e-Qur’an. He was also a devoted follower of Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (RA), and his religious contributions will always be cherished.
The gathering concluded with prayers for the departed soul, followed by a charity meal distributed by his sons Haroon Tanmbrani and Hafiz Maulana Noor Muhammad Tunbrani Qadri.
