Crime, clashes and accidents reported in Tando Adam

Sanghar (Hasnain Ashiq Saand) Incidents of crime and violence were reported in Tando Adam on Tuesday, raising concerns among residents over deteriorating law and order in the area.

According to police, three unidentified armed men in Satellite Town robbed dentist Dr Syed Shahzaib Shah and his friend Abrar Arain at gunpoint. The suspects fled with their CD motorcycle, three mobile phones including an iPhone, and cash. An FIR was lodged at Tando Adam police station. Residents complained that increasing criminal activities in Tando Adam and its outskirts have left them feeling insecure.

Meanwhile, in the village of Chaar Male near Tando Adam, a clash between two groups of the Mehkanis broke out, leaving one man, Punhoon Mehkani, seriously injured after being attacked with axes. He was shifted to Tando Adam Taluka Hospital. The injured alleged that the assailants identified as Ghulam Qadir, Khudadino, Shano and Dili Mehkani attacked his house. A case has been registered and police said further investigation is under way.

Separately, at Foji Mor in Tando Adam, a speeding car collided with a Chingchi rickshaw, leaving Hemoon Bheel, a resident of Berani, seriously injured. He was first taken to the Taluka Hospital and later referred to Hyderabad for treatment. Police seized the car, though no case has yet been registered.
