AC Tando Adam reviews arrangements for upcoming anti-polio campaign

A meeting to review arrangements for the upcoming anti-polio campaign, scheduled to begin on November 13, was held under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Tando Adam, Hunain Tariq Shahani.

The meeting was attended by Mukhtiarkar Imam Din Larak, Medical Superintendent Taluka Hospital Syed Fazal Mahmood Shah, Taluka Education Officer Mukhtiar Ali Umrani, Chief Municipal Officer Abdul Hameed Malik, and other officers from relevant departments.

Speaking on the occasion, Assistant Commissioner Hunain Tariq Shahani emphasized the importance of inter-departmental cooperation to ensure the success of the anti-polio drive. She stated that eradicating polio is a collective responsibility and that no negligence would be tolerated during the campaign.

The Assistant Commissioner added that this year’s anti-polio drive in Sindh has been launched on a broader and more effective scale, with the active participation of health, education, revenue, and municipal departments playing a vital role.

It was decided in the meeting that strict monitoring will be carried out throughout the campaign period to ensure that every child receives the polio vaccine and that the objective of complete eradication is achieved.
